The RUN Day

This is the program on the run day
8.30: Gathering of participants
8.45 : Warm up session led by Fitness First
8.55 : First flag off of participants on wheels (bicycles, roller skates, roller blades etc)
9.00: Flag of for all participants by the Canadian High Commissioner

Since it only start at 8:30… so I told myself to reach there by 7:30am.. just for the sake of getting a parking spot.. There isn’t many parking lot there L … I just don’t want to walk for a super long distance to the starting line & sweat my body before the actual run. :(


Who knows~~~… 7am only I woke up… Dxmx…….I really need to buy a POWERFUL alarm clock to replace my mobile liao … mobile phone really can’t do a good alarm clock job :( …


Thanks to the Sunday traffic.. I managed to get there by 7:40am, together with Mcdonald Big Breakfast J.. but ….my clever idea doesn’t seems to be so cleaver as I wasn’t able to get a parking spot …. Ended up parked beside the road in front of the entrance.. I just DON’T care as my car didn’t block the way .. …… :P


Wauuu…... this is my first time to be the fox runner… it is so great to have the chance to be part of this event.... so much love regardless of races, colour, nation or whatsoever…... today, this moment, Lake Garden is the most beautiful place in Malaysia.


So… I spent my half day for the run + few hours to edit a movie clip of my first terry fox runner experience. I’m pretty happy with the clip but the result in youtube doesn’t seem to be as good as it has been compressed. Well, for people who missed out the event, some photos and a clip for you to feel the love :)

Terry Fox Run 2007

The Run is named after Terry Fox, the young man who inspired these events being held concurrently around the world on September 17.
Terry Fox was 18 years old when he was diagnosed with bone cancer. His right leg was amputated above the knee. Whilst in hospital, Terry was moved by the suffering of cancer patients, particularly children. So much so that he resolved to run across Canada (a distance of 8,500 kilometers) to raise money for cancer research. He called his journey the “Marathon of Hope”.


Terry Fox, despite losing one leg to cancer, ran a marathon (42 kilometers) a day for 143 consecutive days - a total distance of 5,373 kilometers. At that stage, Terry was forced to abandon his run as the cancer spread to his lungs. Terry Fox died at the tender age of 22. Before he died, he knew that a fund-raising event, associated with the Terry Fox Foundation, would be held each year, with the same objectives as the Marathon of Hope - to help find a cure for cancer.
Since 1981, the Terry Fox Run has raised more than RM1.3 billion in aid of cancer research around the world. You would be interested to note the Terry Fox Foundation requires that the funds raised be used for cancer research in the country where the Run is held. The Terry Fox Run in Malaysia has raised more than RM500,000 since 2001.


Yes, Terry Fox run KL is coming back on the 4th November 2007 at Lake Gardens. This is a time for us to raise the fund for the cancer research and to continue the spirit of Terry Fox, to show that cancer can be beaten, HOPE can grow faster than cancer :)


This is not a competition, in fact it is a family event require no registration fees, participant may run, walk, jog, cycling, roller-blading or otherwise propel themselves along the route. However, the organizers encourage participant to purchase a T-Shirt, and that is the source of funding to the cancer research. It is not expensive oh… Just RM25. :) ..ofcoz that would be great if you can donate more..

Magic が、すきいですか。

I like to see magic show..
especially those you can never know the trick of it...

But then one day..
my friend sent me a clip that unveiled the trick behind a performance...

Well, I wasn't so surprise with the trick...
because I always think that there must be well preparation before the
magician starts playing the cheat and...
I always think that the audiences (including those around the magic scene takes place)
are all being cheated.

Who knows.
Sometimes you just can’t trust your own eyes.... your eyes may lie to you.

A trip of 日本盆舞节 - Bon Odori 2007

恶魔一向来都不喜欢热闹，他的本性本来就是喜欢害人，
害得人越惨，他就越开心，简直就像飞上天一样。
问他飞上天爽不爽，他就回答

"那当然咯"

一天恶魔就来到 panasonic 体育馆，
"哇...很热闹一下哦"，恶魔心想
就把气氛弄得冷冷的。

没有气氛，看你们怎么庆祝
恶魔越想越开心，就好像又飞上天一样。

就这样，整个 Bon Odori 现场好无聊,
咖啡豆觉得闷死了,自己就双手来回摆动,反正他就喜欢这么娱乐自己.
心想:" 你管我!!! "

天使看不过眼，他不喜欢恶魔总是搞破坏，
就帮了咖啡豆一把。

就这样，从这一端到那一端..也不过如此。
恶魔开心得太早，回到了地面..从新找寻快感.....

而在场的咖啡豆还在想着同样的问题
:"怎么．．．．会有云吞妹在台上．．．．．．．．．．．．．"
